Montreal 2023 – Just For Laughs is delighted to be back on the road with some of the funniest comedians around! The 18th edition of the Just For Laughs Road Show will bring four hilarious comics to a town near you for an evening of belly laughs and busted guts. Hosted by Juno nominated stand-up Matt Wright, the evening will feature Inside Amy Schumer’s Carmen Lynch, Roast Battle Canada’s Cassie Cao, and The Colbert Report’s Jordan Carlos! Don’t miss some of the best acts from the world’s largest and most prestigious comedy festival when the Just For Laughs Road Show rolls across Ontario this spring!

Matt Wright is a JUNO Award losing Canadian standup comedian, writer, and actor who has appeared on televised galas for Just For Laughs, CBC, and CTV. Matt has written for six seasons of This Hour Has 22 Minutes where he was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. As a filmmaker, his short "Snowstorm Roulette" was nominated for Best International Short at the Austin Comedy Festival.

Carmen Lynch has appeared on a string of late night TV shows including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Conan. She has also appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, That Damn Michael Che, Life & Beth and the documentary Hysterical. Carmen also tours doing stand up in Spanish, has a podcast on SiriusXM called The Human CentiPOD in English and another podcast in Spanish titled Podria Ser Peor. Her two comedy albums “Vertically Obese” and “Dance Like You Don’t Need the Money” can be found on iTunes and Spotify, and a plethora of viral videos on TikTok @carmencomedian.

Cassie Cao is a Canadian Comedy Award winning comedian, writer, and actor based in Toronto. Cassie was a “New Faces of Comedy” at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. Her standup can be seen in the first season of CBC Gem's The New Wave of Standup, Crave's The Standup Show with Jon Dore, and on both seasons of Roast Battle Canada. Cassie is a highly sought after television writer, having written for Netflix's Kim's Convenience, HBO Max's Detention Adventure, CBC's True Dating Stories and the live Giller Prize Award Show. She has also written for the stage for the Second City and The Blue Man Group. As an actor, Cassie can be seen in numerous television comedies such as Amazon's Kids in the Hall reboot, CBC's sketch show Tallboyz, and PBS Kids' Odd Squad. Cassie was formerly an economist and has years of experience telling jokes about the interest rate to prominent Canadian policy makers.

Jordan Carlos is a stand-up comic and television personality who is best known for his work as a writer and on-air contributor for The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, The Colbert Report, MTV’s Guy Code, Girl Code and Guy Court. He has also appeared on hit series such as HBO’s Girls, Showtime’s The Affair, and Comedy Central’s Broad City. Jordan lives in Brooklyn, NY and continues to perform his insightful and hilarious stand-up comedy in venues across the country.
