Receptionist - Administrative assistant

The Just For Laughs Group has been the mastermind behind the world's largest comedy festival for 40 years. Its various products are well known to the public in Canada and internationally (Galas, the Gags series, the outdoor component of the Festival, Just For Laughs, etc.). The Group remains the world leader in the distribution of comedy television series with a presence in more than 135 countries and 95 airlines. The visibility of the Gags series has reached a record high on YouTube with over one billion views.

The Just For Laughs Group's executive team is currently looking for a receptionist/administrative assistant.
 

Reception duties include:

  • Answer, screen and transfer all incoming telephone calls;
  • Greet and direct visitors;
  • Control access to the building;
  • Create Guizmo's and link them to the printer;
  • Receive and distribute mail;
  • Coordinate conference room reservations.
  • Manage scheduling conflicts.
  • Follow up on the installation of meeting specific equipment as needed.
  • Complete and follow up on PO requests for Just for Laughs Management and Just for Laughs Festival;
  • If needed, answer questions from employees in the absence of the building manager;
  • Act as a link between employees and the building's resource person;
  • Draft and send bilingual informational emails to All JPR;
  • Update the phone list and the employee list;
  • Manage the reception during the Festivals
  • Train employees for the duration of the festival;
  • Train employees for the duration of the festival; Be in charge of messenger mailings;
  • Manage the email boxes
  • Order Purolator and Fedex supplies
  • Mailing the mail;
  • Responsible for inventory, ordering and distribution of supplies;
  • Resolve various problems related to courier, elevators;
  • All other related tasks

Administrative assistant tasks include:

  • Assisting the HR and finance departments with clerical work ;
  • Filing;
  • Responding to certain emails ;
  • All other related tasks
