Robby Hoffman

Robby Hoffman is a small, red-headed, ex-Chasidic, lesbian, Jewish stand-up comedian and writer. She was one of our JFL42 New Faces of Toronto in 2015 and was a fan favourite at the 2016 All Jane Festival in Portland. Robby also performed in the industry showcase at the Funny Women Fest in Los Angeles in 2016.

She also writes a whole bunch for TV, most notably for PBS’ Odd Squad, winners of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in 2016, and is currently staffed on CBC's hit show, Workin' Moms.

Robby was featured at the 2017 Winnipeg Comedy Festival in April and at the prestigious 2017 Bridgetown Comedy Festival in May. She is also set to perform in Denver’s 2017 Crom Comedy Festival this spring and headline the 2017 Queer Festival in Portland this summer. For her writing work on Odd Squad, she was nominated for another Emmy at this year’s 44th Daytime Emmy Awards. Robby recently relocated from Toronto to LA, where she is consistently booked on some of the most sought after shows in town.
