Jordan Temple

Jordan Temple is a New York City born, New York City based stand-up comedian and writer who grew up in the projects peeing in the staircase and also the elevator. In 2017, he was a writer for the Golden Globe nominated Showtime series SMILF and for The Rundown with Robin Thede on BET. He is currently a story editor on Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Previously, Jordan was a sketch writer for MTV’s original series, Decoded.

Jordan is the mastermind behind the original comedic play, Hidden Fences which has sold out four times and was staged at The Bell House for New York Comedy Festival. Hidden Fences, was recently covered in The New York Times and Time Out New York, who described the show as “taking on all the hypocrisy of Black History Month in 2017” with “vicious satire.” This year, Jordan staged his follow up to Hidden Fences, an absurdist, one-act, one-man play entitled The Color Urkel.

Jordan was named a Just For Laughs New Face in 2018. He was also a TBS Comic to Watch in 2017 and subsequently made his stand-up debut on Conan.
