Georgia King

A native of Edinburgh, Scotland, Georgia King has gained recognition for her rising film and television career. King plays the lead role in ABC’s half-hour pilot Raised By the Wolves, which follows acerbic single mom/ex-factory worker Sheila Gabel, played by King, as she struggles to find a new job and raise her five feisty kids in Iowa. She also recently wrapped shooting on the sci-fi thriller Parallel.

King also stars in the new HBO series Vice Principals which premiered July 17, 2016. Created by Danny McBride, this dark comedy series tells the story of a high school and the two people who almost run it, the vice principals. Georgia plays Amanda Snodgrass, one of the teachers at the school and potential love interest to Danny McBride’s character.

In film, King was last seen in the Sony Pictures Classics film Austenland which premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Jerusha Hess and produced by Stephanie Meyer, King starred as Lady Amelia Heartwright alongside JJ Field, Keri Russell and Jennifer Coolidge. Additionally, she can be seen in Matthias Hoene’s Cockneys vs. Zombies, Eliminate: Archie Cookson, One Day, and Chalet Girl.

In theatre, she most recently appeared opposite Christine Lahti and Jason Ritter in The City of Conversation at The Wallis Theatre in Los Angeles.
