Bob Daily is the executive producer of Superior Donuts on CBS. He began his career as a journalist in Chicago working as contributing editor at Chicago magazine. He wrote for a number of publications, including Spy, Men’s Journal, the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Reader and The Boston Globe, before beginning his career in television. From 2006 to 2012, Daily served as executive producer and eventually showrunner on Desperate Housewives, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination in 2007. Prior to working on Desperate Housewives, Daily was a writer and co-executive producer on Frasier. During his five year tenure on the show, he won two Writers Guild of America Awards in the category of Outstanding Script – Television Comedy. Also, he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the series. In addition, Daily has worked as a writer/producer on a variety of other series, including The Odd Couple and Out of Practice, both on CBS, Rugrats and Costello. Daily has published six books for children. In 1997 his biography Elvis Presley was named one of the year’s best books for young readers by the New York Public Library.
