Evan Mulrooney is an actor, comedian, and former football player who was once politely told he would never make it on Wall Street (shoutout to the University of Maryland academic advisors for the tough love).
After realizing a normal job might not be his destiny, he signed up for an acting class in college and hasn’t looked back. In 2016, he moved to Chicago and dove headfirst into the comedy scene, performing regularly at The Annoyance Theatre and finding his people—other weirdos who think being funny onstage is a viable career path.
Since then, Evan has worked on incredible projects, including Only Murders in the Building, Dexter, The Studio, Fargo, Justified: City Primeval, and South Side. You might’ve also seen him in commercials for Planet Fitness or on Instagram making absolutely zero sense.
He’s currently based in Los Angeles, training with Aaron Speiser and Kay Aston at The Screen Acting Studio. He’s also an alum of Acting Studio Chicago, The Annoyance Theatre, and iO Chicago.
Evan loves what he does and brings the same heart, hustle, and unhinged-ness to everything he does. He is represented by Grossman and Jack Talent.
