NO ONE IS SAFE! THE NASTY SHOW GETS NASTIER WITH FRENCH COMEDIAN MAKING HIS DEBUT!
French comedian Mike Ward added to the wildly popular The Nasty Show lineup and he’s ready to destroy.Montreal, June 27 – The 2011 edition of the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival presented by Videotron in assosiation with Loto-Quebec has just announced yet another awesome edition to the Festival. The Nasty Show is about to get nastier with the addition of popular French comedian Mike Ward. Easily one of the most popular shows at the Festival, The Nasty Show is ready to welcome Mike into its elite group of shocking and foul-mouthed comedians playing at MetropolisJuly 14-16.
Mike Ward is irreverent, offensive and downright impolite. This megastar on the Quebec French comedy scene has won a Gemini award for Best Performance: Comedy (French); produced a platinum-selling DVD; was ranked among the Top 25 French Comedians of all time; and has more hits on his website, Mikeward.ca, than any other Canadian comedian (not to mention US stars like Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and Dane Cook). In 2007, Mike tried his act in English at a Just for Laughs Best of the Fest show, and found his humour not only translated – it killed. Not afraid to shock, challenge or face death threats for his art, the bilingual Mike Ward is edgy beyond words and ready to destroy The Nasty Show.
The Nasty Show is the ballsiest, most offensive and downright shocking show at the Fest. It’s doing things differently this year and is happening at the beginning of this year’s three week Festival running from July 5 to July 31st. Hosted by the Roastmaster General himself, Jeffrey Ross, is ready to annihilate everything in his sight…including you! He's fresh off of roasting Donald Trump for Comedy Central, so trust us, he’s not afraid of anything and he’s extra fired up! Jeffrey will be joined by others quasi-degenerates including: Jay Oakerson, Ari Shaffir, and Anthony Jeselnik, who was the breakout act at the Trump takedown. You can try and hide, but NO one is safe at this show!
