Three-year deal provides JFL Group with festival foothold in new market

Montreal, June 9, 2011 – The Just For Laughs Group is thrilled to be a partner in the launch of Just For Laughs at Sydney Opera House, a partnership to bring the brightest, funniest and finest names in international comedy to the Australian stage. We now officially get to make fun of people down under!
 
Just For Laughs at Sydney Opera House is a four-day event, from September 1st to the 4th, 2011, at the world-renowned Opera House in Sydney (you know, the place on the water with the big sails for a roof).  Comedy legend John Cleese will headline a star-studded line-up that will include Louis C.K., Dylan Moran, Margaret Cho, Wil Anderson, and much more.
 
Our other partners in this landmark event are our mates at Adrian Bohm Presents, Australia’s best-known comedy producer. With their expertise, one of the most recognized venues in the world in the Sydney Opera House, and of course JFL’s comedic genius, this event is sure to be a huge success for years to come. The initial term of the partnership is three years.
