Call for Entries

We're currently searching for comedy features, documentaries and shorts to showcase at next summer's 30th edition of the Just For Laughs Festival. We accept all types of comedies and films based on the art of comedy. If you're not sure whether your film is right for us, keep in mind that we've showcased everything from slapstick-comedies to romantic-comedies and even dramatic-comedies for all ages. Any work produced in the past 18 months is eligible for the 2012 Just For Laughs Film Festival.
 
There are no entry fees and we encourage all filmmakers and companies to submit their work.
 

How To Submit

Please read all the SUBMISSION GUIDELINES and then fill out the online FILM INFORMATION FORM and send your screener(s) on DVD to the Just For Laughs Film Festival office. The screener(s) and other promotional materials will not be sent back. We will consider all films received by March 23, 2012 (Chicago Festival) and April 20, 2012 (Montreal Festival). Due to the considerable amount of submissions we receive every year, only the creators of the selected films will be contacted by us.
