Dave Chernin

Dave Chernin teamed up with his brother John to create, executive produce, and write The Mick on FOX.

Dave Chernin was born and raised in Los Angeles. After graduating from high school, Dave completed a degree in Communications from the University of Southern California.

Dave got his start, alongside his brother, writing for the acclaimed comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The pair spent six seasons with the show, rising to the rank of co-executive producers. During that time, Dave and John also wrote and produced the pilot Pariah, starring standup comedian Bill Burr.

Most recently, the brothers were featured in Variety’s Top 10 Writers to Watch in 2016.

Dave and John currently reside a little less than a mile from one another in Los Angeles.
