Just For Laughs Hits 100 Million YouTube Views!

Better Still, On Pace to Double That By The Fall

MONTREAL, June 3, 2011 – The Just For Laughs Group is incredibly proud to announce that the number of combined YouTube views on our Gags, French and English channels hit the 100 million mark today. Even more impressive that that aggregate number is that it took just six months to double from 50 million to 100 million (it took three years to hit 50 million).  At this current pace, the channels are on schedule to break the 200 million mark by autumn of this year.

“These numbers attest to the new direction we have undertaken with our Web strategy, and they will only get better as we have only scratched the surface of our digital potential,” said an elated Andy Nulman, President Festivals and Television. “At the moment, our combined channels average approximately 1 million views per day.  If I had a dollar for every view, I suppose I wouldn’t have to provide quotes for press releases.”
