Craig Robinson
Craig Robinson started his comedy career while in college and he has learned something every step of his career. In 1996 he won The Miller Genuine Draft Comedy Search. Right then and there he learned he was funny. Two years later he was signed by Fox to an exclusive development deal while performing at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival. This is where he learned that he had a brilliant future in comedy. Craig’s extraordinary delivery and material has not only lead to a successful stand up career but also has catapulted him into hit shows like ‘The Bernie Mac Show’ and ‘Arrested Development’. Craig is also one of the stars of ‘The Office’ and has appeared in the blockbuster comedy Knocked Up. You can also catch him this summer in the feature film “Pineapple Express” This guy may no longer be in college but he has definitely graduated to the top of class.
JB Smoove
Okay this guy is smoove. No, it’s not a typo. We are talking JB Smoove. He’s a gifted writer, comedian and actor who has been entertaining audiences alongside some of the biggest stars in the industry. His unique brand of comedic funk has made him one of the most sought after talents in film and television. JB paired up with Adam Sandler in ‘Mr. Deeds’ and was the narrator in the cult classic ‘Pootie Tang’ with Chris Rock. He is currently starring as a series regular on HBO’s ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and as Manny on Fox’s ‘Everybody Hates Chris’. This gifted stand up is also a regular on ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brian’ and has appeared on ‘Saturday Night Live’ where he also writes. How does he do it all? It’s easy when you’re JB Smoove.
Bruce Bruce
Bruce Bruce is so great you just have to say his name twice. His larger than life comedic style has enthralled audiences for more than a decade making him one of America’s most popular comedians. Bruce began as a chef who would make his customers laugh and he has been serving up witty, clean adult humor smothered with a dazzling personality ever since. Bruce has a huge list of TV appearances on BET, HBO and Comedy Central and was recently seen as ’Big Shug’ on ’Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector.’. This talented big man just published his first book ’Baby James Brown’ and is the star of Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuit commercials entitled ’stand up for flavor’. For comedy so good you can taste it, come and see Bruce Bruce perform in Montreal this summer.
Patrice Oneal
Patrice O'Neal got his first real taste of stand-up at a place called Estelle's in Boston. He was heckling a comic, and the comic suggested maybe Patrice thought he could do better. Patrice did and the following week he went on stage at Estelle's and brought down the house. Since then Patrice simply hasn't stopped. He has appeared on "The Late Show with Conan O'Brien" three times, was a regular on the very popular Comedy Central show “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and has guest starred on numerous television shows including: FOX’s critically acclaimed “Arrested Development” and NBC’s “The Office. He has also performed half hour specials on both Showtime and Comedy Central. Be sure to check out Patrice in his latest special, his own HBO “One Night Stand” half hour special airing late this summer.
Sheryl Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is a God-fearing, sexually progressive, staunch Republican. Despite this handicap she is one of the funniest and topical standup comics working on the road today. Sheryl combines over 20 years of professional comedy experience with a Masters Degree to bring adult conversation to the stage, discussing sex, politics, currents, and relationships. Sheryl's talent for taking topical subjects and making them outrageously funny made her a staple of BET talk shows. She has also made frequent appearances on ABC's "Politically Incorrect", the "Late, Late Show" with Craig Kilborn, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, and was a regular on Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd." Her film credits include Bulworth, I Got the Hook Up and Beauty Shop with Queen Latifah.
