Mike Young is a successful stand up comedian, director and writer originally from Detroit. With standout performances on SHOWTIME, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Last Call with Carson Daly and touring nationally, he has established himself as an original voice in the world of comedy. Mike performed stand-up for the first time at the world famous Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. He created The Young American Comedy Tour, a wildly successful tour featuring himself, Bobby Lee of Mad TV, Steve Rannazzisi of FX's The League, Steve Byrne of TBS’ Sullivan and Son and Tony Rock. The tour has played over 40 cities and 21 Improv locations.
Mike resides in Los Angeles. He spends his time performing stand up comedy, writing and producing for television and film. His directorial debut My Man is a Loser starring John Stamos, Michael Rapaport and Bryan Callen was released in 2014. His latest project A Stand Up Guy, starring Ethan Suplee, Michael Rapaport and Bob Saget, was released in February 2016. He is currently finishing his next screenplay and has several projects in development. Mike also has his Podcast, Stories That Need To Be Told, that chronicles the ups and downs of being an entertainer whose life would be perfect...if his career and social successes could ever match up.
